Anchorage Trail Care Fund Grant

The purpose of this fund is to establish a source for funding of summer soft surface trail maintenance and construction projects in the Anchorage Bowl, from Girdwood to Eklutna. Soft surface trails are meant to include non-paved trails on public land used for non-motorized activities where maintenance is not generally funded through local, state, or federal budgets.

The Toby Gamble and Janet Helen Tolan Gamble Educational Scholarship was established at The Alaska Community Foundation in 2015, with the inaugural scholarship cycle beginning in the spring of 2018. The Toby Gamble and Janet Helen Tolan Gamble Educational Scholarship supports high school students in Anchorage with a preference for students who intend to study vocational technology, education, pre-med, law, business management, theology, or sports.

The Sven E. and Lorraine Eriksson Alaska Scholarship will provide awards of up to $2,500 per year for up to 4 years (maximum of $10,000) to Alaskan students studying engineering or music at the University of Alaska.
