Strengthening Organizations, Strengthening Communities

Alaska Safe Riders, based in Palmer, received a Strengthening Organizations grant to expand its ability to deliver trusted backcountry and all-purpose vehicle safety training. With this support, the organization is developing an online education platform that will help it continue reaching students in at-risk, low-income communities and professionals—even as other funding sources change.

This year’s grant cycle supports nonprofits as they adapt to shifting funding landscapes, build resilience, and continue showing up for their communities with confidence.

We’re proud to share that more than $290,000 has been awarded to 63 nonprofits across Alaska.
