Leave a Legacy

The Alaska Community Foundation is a grantmaking public charity dedicated to improving the lives of Alaskans. We bring together the financial resources of individuals, families, and businesses to support effective nonprofits in their communities. We strive for operational excellence in six key areas—mission, structure, and governance; resource development; stewardship and accountability; grantmaking and community leadership; donor relations; and communications. This resource page is for those wishing to create a legacy of generosity with our help.

“I care about what happens in Alaska and in my community. Leaving a legacy gift with ACF is my way of giving back to a state that has provided me with many wonderful opportunities. I want to do more than just give now. As a legacy member, I can make a real and meaningful impact on the future of Alaska and its nonprofits. It is gratifying to know my gift will keep giving long after I’m gone.”

Legacy Society for Alaska

Leaving a legacy does not require a large income or a vast estate. All that’s required is the thoughtful intention to make a difference for generations to come. When you join the Legacy Society for Alaska, you become part of a community of like-minded individuals and discover uncommon opportunities to learn, connect, and share.

The Legacy Society for Alaska comprises individuals who have included The Alaska Community Foundation and its Affiliate communities in their estate planning. Members can leave a legacy and support the communities, causes, and organizations they care about, including donating directly to ACF, giving to another existing fund, creating a new fund with ACF, or making a planned gift.

*If you have already included ACF in your estate planning, please contact us so we may recognize you as a member of the Legacy Society for Alaska.
