An endowment to support the Senior Center in Seward, Alaska. The Senior Center is committed to ensuring the honor, dignity, security, and independence of older Alaskans in Seward. Purpose: To enable Seward Senior Center, Inc., to more completely fulfill its mission by developing its programs for seniors beyond what is possible through its annual operating funds. Endowment distributions shall be limited to:
1) Capital needs of SSCI
2) Special program support
3) Seed money for new projects and programs, and special one-time projects
4) Hardship considerations
5) Other purposes as specifically designed by donors to SSCI whose gifts are included in the endowment Distributions from this endowment shall not be made to the operating budget of SSCI.
