Health and Wellness Funds

Mike and Maryanne Pinkham Endowment Fund

This is a field of interest fund established to help alleviate hunger, homelessness, and the needs of Alaska’s most vulnerable population. A particular area of concern is to help school-age children in need and help in meeting the needs of disabled, paralyzed and homeless veterans in Alaska.

Katie’s Handprint Fund

Katie’s Handprint helps Alaskan families by providing financial support to families whose children are in treatment for cancer. The Katie’s Handprint Fund at The Alaska Community Foundation will support general operations of Katie’s Handprint, allowing the organization to ease the burden on Alaskan families fighting childhood cancer.

Katie’s Handprint Wish Fund

Katie’s Handprint helps Alaskan families by providing financial support to families whose children are in treatment for cancer. The Katie’s Handprint Wish Fund will be used to meet the personal wishes, wants, or needs of youth patients experiencing life-threatening/life-altering illnesses and conditions.

The Suz Fund

The Suz Fund helps cancer patients receive wellness services in Alaska. This fund strives to make wellness, therapeutic, and advocacy services more available by reducing barriers that make it difficult for cancer patients to receive support. Our goal is to facilitate access for all cancer patients, with an emphasis on younger patients as they navigate the challenges unique to managing early-onset cancer.
