Grant Application Open: January 15, 2024 - February 29, 2024

The Jack and Nona Renn Anchorage Choir Fund grant is an opportunity created by Nona Renn to honor children and provide for the needs of Anchorage School District high school choirs.

Through the activities of her neighbor’s three children, Nona Renn became aware of the needs of high school choirs. To honor these children and to benefit them and others, Nona established this fund to provide additional funding to Anchorage high school choirs for the years to come. Funds are to be awarded to the choirs of each of the public high schools in the Anchorage School District. For funds to be disbursed each year, the awarded choirs must perform a community service project like performing for outside groups like senior centers and schools other than their own or do another volunteer project.

Application Details:

Eligible applicants include Anchorage school professionals such as principals, teachers, counselors, administrators, certified staff, and students sponsored by certified staff. Applicant must officially represent the high school choir. Grant funds may not be awarded to individuals.
