A scholarship fund in support of post-high school education including vocational training that will provide a future career. This scholarship fund was created by Holly Dick who learned from her own life experiences how education can change lives.
Designed to fund youth leadership programs for disadvantaged students of color in Anchorage, Alaska, in both junior and senior high schools, with a strong focus on public schools with diverse populations and high percentages of disadvantaged youth. The phrase students of color is intended to mean “Indigenous, Black, and Brown, but not limited to Latinx, and Asian and Pacific Islander students.”
The George & Stephanie Suddock Foundation is pleased to offer scholarships to support Alaskan high school graduates achieve their fullest potential, with the goal of helping students improve their lives and improve their communities. The scholarship is open to students who meet eligibility requirements with an interest in pursuing a bachelor’s degree while attending an accredited college or university in the United States.
