Welcoming new charitable funds

The Alaska Community Foundation warmly welcomes two new charitable funds to our growing pool of long-term community resources for the benefit of Alaskans.

The Ketchikan Arts and Humanities Council has made a lasting commitment to Ketchikan High School students in the form of the Sam Pitcher Memorial Scholarship. Awards from this scholarship will be made to students pursing music education. Read more about the Sam Pitcher Memorial Scholarship.

The Newcomb Fund will contribute to the development of infrastructure for youth and the community of Mat-Su. This charitable fund was established by the Mat-Su Sea Hawkers. Read more about the Newcomb Fund.
