A Letter from ACF’s New CEO
This is an exciting time to join the Alaska Community Foundation (ACF). From our beginnings in 1995, thousands of Alaskans have stepped forward to invest in Alaska by creating donor advised funds, many scholarship opportunities, funds to support social justice grants, grants to strengthen nonprofits, and to offer youth more camp opportunities. To make it easier for people to invest in Alaskan organizations, ACF manages the Pick. Click. Give. program for the State of Alaska so individuals can direct their PFD to nonprofits of their choice, and administers Hilcorp’s employee giving program in Alaska.
At the core, ACF is about people coming together to share resources to make life in Alaska better. We are dedicated to exploring avenues to engage more deeply across Alaska, to foster collaborative partnerships, and to empower local communities. In our resource-rich state, our most cherished, powerful, and limited resource is our people.
Thank you all – fundholders, donors, communities, partners, volunteers, advisors, and grantees – for your dedication and investment in the threads of impact that are weaving Alaska’s future. Your generosity and commitment make our work at ACF possible.
