Trunk or Treat Makes the Joys of Halloween Accessible to All!

As a public foundation, The Alaska Community Foundation envisions an Alaska where communities come together and have resources to thrive. The diversity in Alaska empowers and inspires us to embrace all perspectives and voices. We are dedicated to partnering with donors and grantees and sponsoring events that help foster inclusivity and enrich the lives of all Alaskans.

ACF was proud to sponsor The Arc of Anchorage’s annual Trunk or Treat event, serving the Anchorage area by creating a safe, inclusive environment for families of all ages and abilities to come and enjoy some Halloween fun! Their outdoor/indoor setup offered carnival-style games, delicious food trucks, and numerous stations filled with fun for the whole family. The event’s main attraction was the vibrant and family-friendly car trunks decorated and fully stocked to hand out candy to children as they safely trick-or-treated around the snow-free parking lot.
