Senior Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives
Sydney Copley is a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in Interior Alaska, and now serves as the Senior Program Manager for Strategic Initiatives at the Alaska Community Foundation. She brings a commitment to Alaska’s communities and a career grounded in public service, philanthropy, and statewide partnerships.
Before joining ACF, Sydney worked for the Rasmuson Foundation in a variety of roles focused on partnerships, external engagement, and project management. Prior to her time in philanthropy, she spent nearly a decade in the Office of the Governor, where she led statewide projects, managed constituent correspondence, worked directly with SOA departments.
Sydney is actively involved in Alaska’s nonprofit and civic landscape. She serves on the boards of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and the Alaska Humanities Forum, and co-chairs the Alaska Funders Group through Philanthropy Northwest’s peer network. With strong relationships across the state, she brings both broad perspective and deep community connection to her work.
She holds professional certifications as both a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
