Chief of Staff
Nicolle Egan is the Chief of Staff at the Alaska Community Foundation. An (almost) lifelong Alaskan, Nicolle grew up in Kodiak, attended college in Oregon, and at UAA. Over the past 33 years Nicolle has volunteered and worked on a local, state, national and international level with Special Olympics in the areas of sport and program development, inclusion, innovation, education and leadership. Prior to working for ACF, Nicolle was the Principal at Hoonah City School District in Hoonah, Alaska.
Nicolle is proud to be a product of many Alaskans who mentored her in leadership and the importance of connecting and contributing to others by focusing on strengths, and shifting problems into opportunities. She truly identifies with the ACF’s commitment to connecting people, organizations, and causes to strengthen communities across Alaska and is grateful to be a part of such a critical resource for ensuring Alaskans continue to thrive in their communities.
