The Seward Community Foundation’s endowment investment fund, now entering its sixth year, has continued to thrive and grow, even as state and federal funding to nonprofits shrink. At a press event at the Breeze Inn Thursday night, the foundation announced that it is willing to spend more than $120,000 in its 2015 grant cycle, which opened Jan. 1 on specific projects for area nonprofits.
