Competitive Grants
Throughout the year, ACF offers competitive grant cycles for statewide and local projects which address a wide range of community needs. Proposals are evaluated by diverse community panels comprised of local experts and ACF Board of Director members with the highest qualified organization receiving funding.
Our Affiliate community funds also offer competitive grants, primarily to support the eligible organizations within their local communities.
Donor Advised Grants
The Alaska Community Foundation authorizes grants to charitable causes and nonprofits upon the recommendation of donors whose gift established that particular named fund. The Alaska Community Foundation conducts due diligence to ensure the viability of grant recipient organizations.
The Alaska Community Foundation Board of Directors approves or ratifies all grants.
