As we come together to celebrate the things we are thankful for this holiday season, we want to take the time to thank you. Your contributions enable nonprofits to take on current needs and embrace opportunities to strengthen our communities and build a stronger future for Alaska.
So many have given their time with over 250 volunteers thoughtfully evaluating applications and recommending grants in support of their communities. It is because of the giving nature of Alaskans that ACF is the steward of over 580 funds. There are many types of funds, and each one has a unique impact.
Through donations from The Alaska Community Foundation’s unrestricted funds and by assisting fundholders in fulfilling their philanthropic goals, over $8 million was granted out to nonprofits across the state in 2019. We appreciate your support of nonprofits and causes across Alaska that make it easy to be thankful this holiday season.
