The Willard and Mary Jones Scholarship was established by Ron Inouye in memory of the late Willard and Mary Jones of Ketchikan. In the early 1970’s, the Joneses were mentors to Mr. Inouye who was teaching at the University of Alaska Ketchikan Campus at the time. It is Mr. Inouye’s intent that this scholarship serve the Ketchikan community and honor the Joneses legacy.
Please honor the memory of Willard and Mary Jones through your study and education: be welcoming, generous and share what you learn with others. This scholarship will award up to $1,000.
