Sheldon Museum & Cultural Center Fund

The Sheldon Museum and Cultural Center, an educational institution of the Haines Borough, is committed to collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history, art, and unique blend of diverse cultures within the Chilkat Valley region. The Sheldon Museum’s presentation of artifacts, clan trust property, and memorabilia enhances the quality of life for area residents and visitors; informs researchers and historians; inspires artists and creative writers; and encourages community pride through permanent, temporary, and traveling exhibits, and through a variety of outreach programs for schools and the public.

Governor Bill Sheffield Fund

Please join ACF in honoring and celebrating Governor Sheffield and his dedication to public service and commitment to philanthropy. The Alaska Community Foundation has established the Governor Bill Sheffield Fund to support causes and nonprofit organizations important to him.

Jo & Peter Michalski Gratitude Fund

This permanent endowment is being created at The Alaska Community Foundation in honor of Peter and Jo Michalski so that their good work and impact in our state will continue in Alaska for decades to come. The Peter and Jo Michalski Gratitude Fund is a flexible endowment to meet the ever-changing needs of Alaska. While no one can predict what the future will hold, this fund will meet emerging needs and opportunities around the state.
