Sheldon Museum & Cultural Center Fund
The Sheldon Museum and Cultural Center, an educational institution of the Haines Borough, is committed to collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history, art, and unique blend of diverse cultures within the Chilkat Valley region. The Sheldon Museum’s presentation of artifacts, clan trust property, and memorabilia enhances the quality of life for area residents and visitors; informs researchers and historians; inspires artists and creative writers; and encourages community pride through permanent, temporary, and traveling exhibits, and through a variety of outreach programs for schools and the public.
Katie’s Handprint Fund
Katie’s Handprint helps Alaskan families by providing financial support to families whose children are in treatment for cancer. The Katie’s Handprint Fund at The Alaska Community Foundation will support general operations of Katie’s Handprint, allowing the organization to ease the burden on Alaskan families fighting childhood cancer.
Alaska Moving Image Preservation Association Endowment Fund
AMIPA’s mission is to collect, preserve, catalog, and provide public access to Alaska’s sound and moving image material, and to encourage the ongoing documentation of Alaskans and Alaska events of historic importance.
