Northrim Bank establishes this fund in memory of Michael Martin, a long-time member of its executive team who passed away unexpectedly on November 11th, 2021. The Junior Nordic program was of great importance to Michael and his family. Therefore, the fund is to be used to benefit youth & sports development through the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage. The funds will be used to ensure that the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage is able to promote cross country skiing as a health and wellness activity and is made available to children of low-income families and throughout diverse neighborhoods.
