The Alaska Community Foundation awards scholarships made possible by passionate community members who are committed to helping Alaskans pursue their educational dreams. The specific criteria, application requirements, and deadline vary by scholarship. Please review the guidelines for each scholarship to determine your eligibility before applying.

Students, please prepare the following before applying:

  • Personal Statement/Essay
  • High School transcript (student profiles are not accepted)
  • Post-Secondary (College, University, Vocational or Technical) School/Training unofficial transcripts
  • Financial Statement (cost of school, family contribution, etc.)
  • Student Aid Report (SAR) – If you have not yet completed your FAFSA, now is a great time!
  • Proof of Acceptance to post-secondary education (College, University, Vocational, Technical)
All applications must be submitted by 5 pm AKST on the date they are due.
