The personal essay is the hardest part of most scholarship applications and the part students put off the longest. In this workshop hosted by the Alaska Community Foundation, students will spend five hours with storytelling coaches from StoryWorks, a program of the Alaska Humanities Forum, working one-on-one through brainstorming, drafting, and revision, so the day ends with real pages instead of an outline.
