Originally from Ohio, Taylor relocated to Anchorage in June 2022 to accompany her Active-Duty spouse on a tour to JBER. As someone who has never visited Alaska, much less thought about living here, she’s enjoying learning about Alaskan culture and wildlife!

Taylor’s love for nonprofit work began in high school as a summer camp attendee with Youth to Youth International (Y2Y), a nonprofit that focuses on substance abuse prevention and positive youth development. In a matter of days, she fell in love with their mission and never looked back. She then continued to become a Y2Y volunteer throughout high school and college. Following college, Taylor landed her dream job of becoming a staff member for Y2Y in 2016. Shortly after meeting her husband, the military required them to move overseas to England, and her work in the nonprofit sector had to take a back burner.

Relocating stateside allows Taylor to jump back into the nonprofit sector, and she could not be more excited. Taylor has a passion for community involvement. She is eager to learn alongside an amazing team at ACF and leave Alaska better than she found it.

Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services from East Carolina University. In her spare time, you can find her traveling, watching a Formula 1 race, or hanging out with friends.
