United Way of Anchorage is a community of donors, advocates, volunteers, and partners who work to improve the health, education, and financial stability of every person in Anchorage. Together, we make our city safer and healthier, strengthen our workforce, and grow our economy. Through turning caring into action, last year our community:
- Housed and supported more than 2,000 people experiencing homelessness;
- Provided out-of-school activities like tutoring and mentoring for over 15,000 youth;
- Helped more than 9,000 people get back on their feet through financial education and job skills training.
