Home is the foundation for a meaningful life—that’s why we work to make homelessness rare and brief in Anchorage. We do this through our work in:
- Emergency Cold Weather Shelter – Organizing shelter operations to ensure no family with children sleeps in an unsafe place during the coldest months of the year.
- Heading prevention and diversion efforts through Alaska 2-1-1 for Anchorage’s “Anchored Home” plan to end homelessness.
- Family Community Housing – Rapidly rehousing families experiencing homelessness and helping them work towards self-sufficiency through case management.
- Home for Good – Piloting a permanent supportive housing project for individuals experiencing persistent homelessness.
