Grant Application Open: January 15, 2024 - February 29, 2024

The Anchorage Trail Care Fund was established to provide a source of funding for summer soft surface trail maintenance and construction projects in the Anchorage Bowl, from Girdwood to Eklutna. Soft surface trails are meant to include non-paved trails on public land where maintenance is not generally funded through local, state, or federal budgets.


The Anchorage Trail Care Fund at the Alaska Community Foundation (ACF) will accept applications from January 15th, 2024 – February 29th, 2024, from eligible organizations.

Eligibility is limited to 501(c)3 nonprofits or equivalent organizations in Alaska. Equivalent organizations may include tribes, schools, churches, local government agencies, and programs. Grant award amounts will be up to $2,500.
