Improving the creative arts.
The Alaska Community Foundation celebrates the arts and our cultural heritage by supporting and sustaining nonprofits and charitable causes dedicated to preserving our unique communities.
Through our agency endowment funds, we support the good works of statewide organizations like the Alaska Native Heritage Center and the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum. We champion Alaska Native language revitalization efforts through our Clara Lee Memorial Fund for Preservation of the Inupiat Language and Culture and through capacity building grants, like ours to the Episcopal Diocese of Alaska for their visioning session in Beaver, Alaska that set goals for shared Gwich'in Athabascan language revitalization efforts.
Whether its funding strategic planning sessions for the Alaska Native Language Preservation and Advisory Council or supporting the Bethel Community Arts Council, The Alaska Community Foundation is committed to improving the creative arts in Alaska.
